Overview
I joined Semantic Visions early in the discovery phase, designing the svEye MVP from the ground up. My work covered ideation, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and developer handoff — all while collaborating closely with product management and developers to deliver an intuitive, scalable interface for a complex data environment.
- Built a scalable design system with multi-theme components (light/dark mode, states, accessibility).
- Designed dashboards, reporting frameworks, and advanced visualization patterns for high-volume data.
- Conducted user testing to validate flows and refine usability.
Discovery & Foundations
I contributed to defining the product vision by mapping the features and breaking down challenges and constraints. I created user flow diagrams to plot the mechanics of searches, filtering, and reporting. In addition, I conducted a competitive analysis identifying patterns in dashboards, filters, and visualizations that informed our baseline expectations. These artifacts aligned stakeholders and provided a shared blueprint for development.

Core Workflows
Designed and established multi-step processes such as search configuration, report building, and automation as guided flows with contextual controls. These workflows, created from scratch, reduced friction, improved discoverability, and encouraged deeper exploration of insights.
Dashboard Architecture
Structured the product around a modular dashboard framework where users could configure, review, and compare intelligence reports in one environment. Emphasized adaptability by supporting multiple entities, filters, and comparative views with consistent navigation.

Growth & Engagement
Designed product-led growth (PLG) nudges that informed users of their plan’s limitations and highlighted upgrade or add-on options. These contextual prompts balanced clarity with subtlety, supporting business goals while maintaining user trust.

Conclusion
Partnering closely with product and engineering, I translated complex backend logic into intuitive interfaces and delivered an MVP foundation that balanced technical constraints with strong UX principles. The result was a scalable, analyst-friendly platform ready for its soft launch release in August 2025.
As Semantic Visions transitions design work in-house, I ensured a smooth handoff by delivering a robust design system and detailed documentation. This gave the incoming designer and broader team the tools to carry the product forward, building on a foundation that is both cohesive and scalable.
